A quartet of Bronx women artist brought their skill, talent and technique downtown for a late Women’s History Month remake of Freeman Alley, Lower Manhattan’s ever-evolving outdoor street art museum.

Joining the list of renowned street artists who have added their work to the wall behind the Mike’s Home Center were @Kaylovebx, @Lovenotesnyc, @Mrrs.bx and @Erotica67.

The four were in the process of adding their colorful designs to a pink undercoat. Working in near perfect weather on Sunday, March 26, they four said they expect the work to be completed by today.

“All four of us are established artists from the Bronx and we’re thankful to have this opportunity to paint in place that is recognized by everyone as one of New York’s most important street art locations,” said @Lovenotesnyc.

Street art continues to flourish in the historic alley, located off Rivington between Chrystie and Bowery, which has become a destination for street art lovers and practitioners alike. The west wall of the alley, the back of Mike’s, is being curated by the well-known artist @_vewer_ under a deal with lumber store.
