Christopher Makos’ new exhibition MONEY features unseen vintage work from every stage of the artist’s life, including over 60 unique photographs, collages, and assemblages that celebrate the money shot: daring, climactic and outrageous.
Many of the images harken to the artist’s years as an important player in the downtown art scene, confidant to Andy Warhol and a key member of the Factory.
The show opened May 5 and runs through June 18 at Daniel Cooney Fine Art, 508-526 West 26th St, Suite 9C.
